Hefner w/Blake; sore legs, fatigued legs, breathing poor cold dry air; just got it in on the 10 x 400's and couldn't really push pace. Joys of coming back to higher miles!
OC Holiday Hustle w/Court and Blake; ran 1.55 and drills pre; 2 post. Running very heavy at 179 lbs!! Hard to breathe and legs feel heavy; mainly due to weight and also bump in miles and no taper. But also wind was strong today and that didn't help. Know I put in the effort and ran strong for 1st in AG and 40:22....but not where I want to be.
Hefner w/BE and JH for couple miles; included 8 x 1/4 miles from SS hill. Ran decent including two really fast when tried to stay with Blake; still running heavy but getting fit. Check Strava
OC w/Court; her pacer; 3 at MP and 1 at HMP; legs tired; still heavy and not losing although feel lighter...what is up??? 177.8 Not enough sleep? Eating quest bars at night before bed? trail mix? just stress?
Wore out and still sick; didn't sleep well last night; Abbey cancer surgery. Waited until late and after eating to bike; ate bad today Earl's and Chikfila. ugh
Run felt like a sick person running; also legs tired, must be from biking so much; congestion; thinking i should call back for the antibiotics. Tried a 6 x 1 mile on 1 mile off at MP but could only do three; and the 3 were tough. Also evident need to lose weight. Just not much going right in my fitness and training right now but have two weeks off to recover and find my way.
OC Solo; forced self out; ran first time taking Clear Lungs and helps tremendously. Being overweight does not. Thinking the hard pounding downhill last week is what has left my legs fatigued; even started off today with shin splints; along with biking so much last week. Hopefully the worst of the cold is over and can get back to normal training. be smart!
OC w/Court; getting solid sleep thanks to NyQuil; ran is Adios; 3 mi WU with drills; took 2 clear lungs along with Symbicort, Pseudo. Was actually feeling kind of hot; had a sip of gatorade between each repeat; pushed hard last 200 meter into wind to maintain; lungs felt best in quite some time, but still had a shallow limit that wonder if albuterol or just getting lighter in weight would help. Ran really solid and proud of effort; first one was just testing to see how I feel and backed off too much at pond.
Hefner w/Blake from Police; opted for today since no LR last weekend and poor weather for this. Hard to breathe right off; clear lungs? settled in; took 2 caff gum and 2 gel; should have skipped 2nd due to racing heart and light headed post run. Legs felt tired during run especially into wind. Started off calm but picked up and into strong wind on dam.
Post run; 44-49; WC43; DP34; H72-56; NNW17-23; PI8.10; LtLm
8am w/BE; ate at 5:45 am; took 1/4 caff and pseudo at 1hour out; took half and a 1 clear lungs at 30 min out; had a water at dam mid point. Picked it up on way back; still harder to breathe mainly due to overweight I would imagine; weighed 178 after 19 LR on Thursday. Felt good though and nothing from 19 sore. Did get some nausea at end of fastest mile.
Treadmill: 1 mi WU with drills and couple striders
Bookend workout: 1 at MP of 6:52; 8 at HMP of 6:25; 1 at MP
Hot in garage; once settled in kept it going; gatorade half way through while running. Post run 183.6 lbs ugh ugh ugh Eating mexican food yesterday at Zarates and munching too much. Got to get serious because in decent shape. 3-weeks til HOU
WU and drills with BE; JB showed up being let out early and we jogged extra with him for the company. Finally started our planned MP tempo but got faster so really a Steady State run. Carried small bottle water that stopped and drank from twice. Legs felt the fatigue but really happy with how run went. Took Pseudo 2 hr early and Clear Lungs 30 min along with caff; took ASh 1 hr before and Rho w/breakfast 2.5 hours before. Sym 1 hour before. Banana right before taking off on steady state; gel when first got there. Adios 2
