1:30 pm Hefner run with JH & JB; also Scott Smith & Geoffrey for a little.

87 and full sun which is near record high!  46 DP; S wind 20-35 mph; dust storm; 1613

Left inner anke sore (nothing new...dealing with for over 5 years now).  Otherwise nothing too bad after a tough 15K race yesterday.  Running into the wind and gusts did make it where righ hip flexor was a little sore; went away once wind to back.  Ran in Boston Boost.  Overall easy pace and never pushed.  Happy my fitness level allows me to get out and hit a run like today in the heat after a hard effort yesterday.  Of course always nice to be meeting up with friends for the positive reinforcement!

pre-noon 5 miler at OC trails; solo; 60; NE 12 mph; DP 43; full sun.  Nice morning for easy pace, no sweat run.

4 pm Hefner run with JH; 68 and overcast; DP 39; 1606; NE 4mph.  Nice easy run in Adidas Adios 2 (finally found out that 100% re-tying loose made these shoes fit 100% better!).  Barely needed any water today.  Great running and great chat as we reminisced about the days when we ran 2:21 marathons while attending ivy league universities....

4pm at Hefner with JH, Blake, and Jaz.  Full sun; 1614; 6 mph SSE; 72; DP 31.  Boston Boost.  Easy run with exception of 8x striders.

Felt kind of dead-legs and fatigued for much of early run likely from effect of higher miles yesterday.  Also the water is now off at Hefner and could have used more sleep last night.  Overall...just cumulative fatigued.  Felt right hip flexor; also ran a couple of striders too fast and felt some calf pain and little strain on bottom of left foot.  The is a planned big-mile week so need to just hang in there....
